Celebrating David Wojnarowicz at The Whitney
I was so moved by "Memories That Smell Like Gasoline," readings of the work of David Wojnarowicz, last night, courtesy of Whitney Museum of American Art and Visual AIDS. His work is powerful, heartbreaking, insightfully funny and prescient - both speaking to the times in which he lived and, unsurprisingly, where we still are today. Also, explored the exhibit of his work "History Keeps Me Awake At Night." Go see it (on view through Sept. 30th)!
