My latest story for Engadget is out! I interviewed representatives from the World Wildlife Fund and TRAFFIC, a wildlife trade-monitoring network as well as Susan Lieberman, vice president of international policy at the Wildlife Conservation Society. Last week, it was announced that 21 tech giants (like Google and Alibaba) from North America, Europe, Asia and Africa are taking a stand as the first businesses to join the Global Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online, which has issued a pledge to reduce this illegal trade online by 80 percent by 2020.
