Edited and wrote content for's SciTech vertical –– reported on science, technology, environmental, and military news. Regularly filled in for SciTech editor, which involved editing and producing articles by freelance and staff writers through Fox's CMS, as well as updating's SciTech social media accounts.

Hancock Shaker Village: Public Relations Consultant                           March 2014-January 2017

Worked remotely from New York as a freelance Public Relations Consultant for living history museum in Massachusetts. Developed social media strategies to increase the museum's digital presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Organized an annual Instagram photo contest that generated a large increase in the number of followers for all of the museum's social media accounts. Launched social media promotion of Baby Animals on the Shaker Farm, the museum's official annual start of the spring/summer season. Sent out press releases and fielded media requests for the museum's programs and exhibits.

The Berkshire Eagle: Reporter/Designer/Editor, Pittsfield, Mass.        August 2012-August 2013

Covered local news and wrote enterprise features, produced video and audio reports, designed pages for daily paper and weekly arts supplement, and frequently served as Online Editor. Created headlines and website captions, and ran paper’s social media accounts on the weekends. Served as interim Features section editor and designer for four months. Interviewed Tony Shalhoub and Olympia Dukakis, among others.
