The opioid crisis and women with endometriosis

I recently worked on this story for the Endometriosis Foundation of America that takes a look at how this nation's opioid crisis is impacting women who are dealing with chronic pain from endometriosis. It was a privilege to speak with the women who shared their stories with me. Keep this sobering fact in mind: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reports that every minute, 116 people die from opioid-related overdoses.
