Heading to SXSW '26!

I'm so excited to head to SXSW next week to moderate an important discussion around heart health : 'Off the Field: Athletes Driving Behavior Change in Health'

Given that professional athletes make an impact on and off the field -- captivating fan bases and serving as powerful role models -- how can they motivate behavior change and spur important conversations about cardiovascular disease?

I'll be speaking with football legend Barry Sanders, Chad Witheridge, a heart attack survivor, sports enthusiast and founder of My Heart Mission (a nonprofit focused on cholesterol awareness and heart health education), and Nerissa Gomes, Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. Cardiovascular Business Unit at Amgen.
